We went to Carson's first football game of the season on Saturday! It was so stormy and windy until about 6 o'clock and then the weather just cleared right up and it was perfect weather for a football game. Lindsay had a great time! I got her a little DSC cheerleader outfit and she loved screaming like everyone else when the team did something good!
I set my little girl in her crib the other day and she was able to to stand in it holding on to the rail. Just yesterday I had to cradle her little head and now she's a little independent girl. It's bittersweet!
Tracy came down for the weekend so we thought it would be fun for me, her, and Kelly to go down to Vegas for some shopping before she went home and Kelly moved back up to Logan. I forget, though, how much I truly hate Vegas - especially in the day - and DOUBLE especially in the middle of summer. We did find some good deals though, which is always a plus.
We were gone pretty much the whole day so Lindsay hadn't seen Baxter or Willie for quite a while. I was holding her while I was getting her bath ready and the boys came in and she went hysterical. She laughed louder than I ever heard her laugh before. She laughed so hard she scared Will and he started barking at her :) I got a cute video of her on my cell phone showing just how much she really loves her puppies.
On a sad note, we already miss Aunt Kelly :( We hope she's already having fun up north!
We had a very busy weekend! I entered Lindsay into the cute baby contest at the fair and they called me and told me that she was a finalist! We brought her to the fair on Saturday to show her off on the stage and then the Washington County princesses judged each group. She didn't win, unfortunately (although we all know she was robbed!) but we had a lot of fun dressing her up and showing just how cute she really is. Grandma and Grandpa came to see her and she even tried a pina colada snow cone!

After the contest Lindsay and I drove up to Delta to meet Daddy to go to the Talbot family reunion. Lindsay was able to see her cousin Gracie Lee Talbot, Aunt Laura, Uncle Tony, and Grandma & Grandpa Talbot. Gracie and Lindsay had lots of fun playing with Gracie's toys and getting to know each other. It was so fun to watch them play together. It will be nice for them to grow up with cousins so close in age!
We also had a fun breakfast where Lindsay got to get her first taste of Orange juice. We got a cute video of her trying to adjust to the new flavor - it's really cute! All in all, it was a busy but very fun weekend!
We just got some more family pictures done by FunnyFace Photography and they did a phenomen al job! My little girl looked like a model! And her blue eyes were so bright! Even I looked good, and I'm usually not that photogenic! Here are a few pics (there were over 150) - but feel free to view our gallery at

So I was going through all my pictures - and believe me, I have a billion - and I started laughing at all the cute and funny pictures I have of my crazy, wacky, nutty, annoying, irritating, lovable, can't-live-without 'em puppies - Baxter & Willie. So I thought I would give you all a picture showcase of my silly pups and their crazy personalities!.jpg)

My little lass got started on some rice cereal recently! I'm hoping it will help her to sleep through the night - so far, no go :( She REALLY loves it though. She tries to get every last morsel off of the spoon and even tries to grab it and feed herself! She's just getting so big I can't believe how small she was when she was born compared to her chubbiness now! She's probably about 16 pounds now. I'm thinking I must be producing whole-milk with my mammaries!
She sure loves her puppies too! She loves to let Baxter lick her hands and toes and laughs when he licks her face. She loves Will most though (probably because Will actually sits still for her to pet). She grabs his ears and collar and pets his back! She a pup lover already!
And she loves to be strolled around the house (she's a heavy girl - and my back is not happy about it). She just relaxes and kicks her feet up on the foot rest and plays with her toys - one day she will learn that throwing them on the floor for the pups to play with will only help them end up chewed in the backyard faster :)
We're heading to the Payson Scottish Festival this weekend for a little R&R. Jeremy's been working non-stop on a project and will finally be done with it so he deserves a little relaxation. Hopefully we'll get to stop in Delta and see LJ's little cousin Gracie Lee and maybe hit up the zoo in SLC!
(Countdown to summer semester ending - 1 Month; It has been killer! So much work in so little time - I barely have time to breathe)
